Speaks&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/graffitiresearchlab.com\/images\/grl_shield_500.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Graffiti Research Lab will be preseting with Josh MacPhee at Eyebeam as part of the Upgrade event.<\/p>\n<p>UPGRADE<br \/>\nApril 29th, 3-5pm<br \/>\nat Eybeam (http:\/\/www.eyebeam.org), 540 W. 21st St., NYC<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/justseeds.org\">Josh MacPhee<\/a>, author of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stencilpirates.org\">Stencil Pirates<\/a> takes us on a tour through the history of illegal street markings (Street Art 101), and how we got where we are today, with a focus on the history of the street stencil.<\/p>\n<p>-Evan Roth and James Powderly talk about the current state of graffiti, the formation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/graffitiresearchlab.com\">Graffiti Research Lab<\/a>, as well as our most recent open source graf projects. They demo the tools they&#8217;ve developed and give out materials to make <a href=\"https:\/\/graffitiresearchlab.com\/?page_id=6\">LED Throwies<\/a>.
